The Walking Dead Season 10 Finale Gets Release Date and Trailer

After four long months, The Walking Dead season 10 episode 16 finally has a return date. 

The Walking Dead: World Beyond at 10 p.m. ET.

In a surprising turn of events, the season 10 finale that will air in October won’t technically be the final episode of the season, which is getting six “extra” episodes in early 2021. As you might have expected, this means The Walking Dead season 11 has been delayed indefinitely. You can read more about all of that here.

AMC announced back in March that the The Walking Dead: World Beyond. 

Fear the Walking Dead season 6 received an October 11 release date during its Comic-Con@Home .

“The Tower.” Episode 16, which is now described as a “special event” episode, is called“A Certain Doom.”

The Walking Dead’s tenth season was the first full season without former lead actor Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes. Into his leadership role stepped other characters like Aaron (Ross Marquand), Daryl (Norman Reedus), Carol (Melissa McBride), and Michonne (Danai Gurira). Gurira also left the show as well, Walking Dead movie franchise.

AMC previously revealed that Lauren Cohan is set to make her return to the series as Maggie Rhee in the season 10 finale. Cohan left the show in season 9 to pursue an opportunity as the lead in ABC’s Whiskey Cavalier. Her character, Maggie, ed Georgie’s traveling group of society-builders. Now it appears as though she can’t turn up the opportunity for another good old-fashioned war. 

Though The Walking Dead season 10 finale now has a release date, the wait will continue for an announcement on The Walking Dead season 11. Though the usual production cycle for the show would mean a fall 2020 premiere, it’s likely that the timeframe season will have been effected by the pandemic as well.
