Star Wars: How Old Was Ahsoka at the End of the Clone Wars?
Ahsoka Tano is the star of Star Wars: The Clone Wars season 7. But by the time the credits roll, you may still have some questions about the character, including how old she is at the end of the war. We have the answer.

The Clone Wars could only end in tragedy. That much we already knew from Darth Sidious‘ new apprentice, an eventuality that she refuses to accept. She believes in Anakin the hero and chooses not to relate the vision to the Jedi Council when she has the chance.
But Ahsoka begins to understand the truth in the penultimate episode of the series, appropriately titled the clone troopers she’d once proudly served with. Trapped in a Republic cruiser full of surprise enemies, Ahsoka is forced to use her wits, lightsaber skills, and Maul to survive Order 66 while figuring out what’s going on.

After removing the control chip in Rex’s brain that’s manipulating him to kill Jedi, the duo escapes the Republic ship as it crash lands on a desolate moon. Ahsoka’s final scene is devastating. One of only two survivors of the crash, she stands before the graves of the clone troopers she couldn’t save in the end. Ahsoka leaves behind her lightsaber at the wreckage and abandons the life of a Jedi for good.
Where Ahsoka went after the end of the Clone Wars is explored a bit in the YA novel Ahsoka by E.K. Johnston, but much of this period in the young hero’s life is still a mystery. It’s not until her return as a Rebel spy in Rebels that we truly get to learn a few things about where she’s been. But that’s still quite a few years missing from Ahsoka’s life that are yet to be mined for more Star Wars stories.
Born in 36 BBY (Before the Battle of Yavin) on the Togruta homeworld of Shili, Ahsoka was 17 when Rebels in 4 BBY, she’s 32. No longer a teen trying to find her place in the world, Ahsoka has grown into a role model for younger generations of heroes, like series protagonist Ezra Bridger.
While she’s set to appear in Return of the Jedi, it seems we’ll be reunited with her at the age of 45. Dawson is 40.
Although her Clone Wars adventures are over, it’s good to know we’ll get to see more of Ahsoka’s journey very soon. The Mandalorian season 2 is scheduled to release on Disney+ in October.
